Why does climate change happen and what is our role in it? What does pollution really mean and why is it bad? Are we heading into an ecological disaster? What can we do to reverse or slow down trends? If you catch yourself pondering these questions while daydreaming, this course is for you.

In this interdisciplinary course, students will tackle ecological, environmental, biological, and chemical questions to understand what climate change is, what has caused climate change in the past and what causes it now.

Before coming up with solutions on how to save the environment, we want our students to gain an understanding of how things work and why. Students will gain deeper knowledge of what exactly we mean by pollution: what biological and life cycles are affected, what chemical processes at work, and what main pollutants are.
