A VR voyage into oceanography, marine biology, and ocean solutions. Splash into this Water World course to experience the beauty and complexity of our blue planet. On each day of this five-day course, we will take a virtual dive into a new subject of interest and build an intuition for the ocean environment, all without getting wet!

Students will explore individual marine ecosystems and broader ocean topics, such as marine biodiversity, ocean currents, water chemistry, and the impact of human activities on the ocean. Through peer-to-peer collaboration and immersive 3D activities, students will learn by doing, making, and preparing to teach their friends and family.

The course will culminate in a design workshop for students to apply what they’ve learned to brainstorm solutions to current ocean issues while considering the tradeoffs of their actions. By the end of the program, students will have a deeper understanding of the ocean and its importance to our planet.

Join us for an unforgettable experience in the virtual ocean!
